In the summer of 2020, we started using a slide to give out books during the COVID-19 pandemic. June 21st was our second event with the new social-distancing slide! We gave out 159 books. Thank you to Andrew Webb of WVIR NBC29, who came out to film the Donor Diapers distribution. Donor Diapers sets up at Friendship Court every month to give out diapers and wipes to families who need them.

On September 25th, 2019, a team from UVA's Curry School came out to repaint the bus roof with special silicone paint. Other volunteers helped clean up the bus and organize books. Thank you all so much!
We brought the bus to the PACEM women's shelter, and gave out special requests and new books.
